About the Winery

Ventolaio is a family farm in Montalcino, now in its fifth generation, situated on the route to Sant'Antimo Abbey with 14 hectares of south/southeast-facing vineyards at approximately 400 meters elevation. The estate produces approximately 40,000 bottles of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 18,000 bottles of Rosso di Montalcino, and 10,000 bottles of IGT wines, aged traditionally in Slavonian and French oak barrels, and is currently converting to organic farming.
