About the Winery

Tenuta di Capezzana is a historic estate in Carmignano, west of Florence, where the Contini Bonacossi family has produced wine since 1920 on land first documented for viticulture in 804 AD. The estate produces Carmignano DOCG wines that blend Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon, a tradition dating back to the Medici era, alongside Chardonnay, Trebbiano, and olive oil from certified organic vineyards.
