About the Winery

Caprili is a historic family winery in Montalcino, Tuscany, founded by the Bartolommei family who settled in Caprili in 1952 as sharecroppers before purchasing the property in 1964, producing their first Brunello di Montalcino in 1978. The 58-hectare estate now managed by the third generation has 25 hectares of vineyards planted primarily with Sangiovese Grosso, creating traditional Brunello, Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino, and Moscadello di Montalcino from southwest-facing hillside vineyards.
