About the Winery

Fattoria Mantellassi is a historic winery in Magliano in Toscana, Maremma, established in 1960 by Ezio Mantellassi, renowned as one of the most prestigious producers of Morellino di Scansano DOCG. The Mantellassi family, originally from Pistoia, was the first to bottle Morellino in 1977 and played a decisive role in obtaining DOC recognition in 1978, with approximately 100 hectares of vineyards across the hills of Maremma.
