About the Winery

LE Chiuse is a historic winery in Montalcino, Tuscany, whose vineyards were originally part of the legendary Biondi-Santi family's holdings used for their Riserva bottling, now producing Brunello di Montalcino DOCG under Simonetta Valiani. The 18-hectare estate on the northeast hillside of Montosoli at 300 meters altitude is planted exclusively with Sangiovese Grosso from the historic BBS11 clone, certified organic since 2005, with yields half the consortium limit.
