About the Winery

Panizzi is a celebrated winery in San Gimignano, Tuscany, founded by Giovanni Panizzi in 1979, pioneering the renaissance of Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG as president of the Consorzio from 2003 to 2009. The Nicolai family now runs the estate across 60 hectares in 4 vineyards, practicing organic farming and producing acclaimed Vernaccia including a Riserva aged in French oak and a unique Ten Years After Riserva Storica project.
