About the Winery
Tenuta Valdipiatta is a family-owned winery in Montepulciano, Tuscany, founded in the 1960s and acquired by Giulio Caporali in the late 1980s, producing Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG from Sangiovese (Prugnolo Gentile). Now managed by daughter Miriam Caporali since 2002, the 40-hectare estate achieved organic certification in 2018 and is known for its elegant wines that reflect the ancient winemaking traditions of Montepulciano.
