About the Winery
Felsina is a historic estate in Castelnuovo Berardenga, Chianti Classico, founded in 1966 by Domenico Poggiali, producing benchmark Chianti Classico DOCG, Rancia Riserva, and Fontalloro from 100% Sangiovese across 500 hectares. Renowned for decades of clonal research and championing native Sangiovese, the estate has earned Tre Bicchieri awards annually since 1988 and was named Gambero Rosso Winery of the Year in 2009.
