About the Winery
Ormanni is an historic estate in the heart of Chianti Classico near Barberino d'Elsa, with a legacy dating to 1200 when the Ormanni family was mentioned in Dante's Divine Comedy. The 242-hectare property, owned by the Brini family since 1818 and now run by Paola Brini Batacchi and Francesco Daddi, cultivates 68 hectares of certified organic vineyards at 350-400 meters elevation, producing Chianti Classico, Riserva Borro del Diavolo, and Gran Selezione from Sangiovese.
