Nusserhof is a legendary urban winery in Bolzano, Alto Adige, with the Mayr family tending the same 2.4 hectares of vineyards since at least 1788. Heinrich Mayr and his daughter Gloria farm organically, exclusively cultivating indigenous varieties including Lagrein, Teroldego, Schiava, and the nearly extinct Blatterle, producing structured, mineral-rich wines with long aging in French oak botti, while the estate holds special significance as the home farm of blessed resistance figure Josef Mayr-Nusser.
