About the Winery
Viticoltori di Verbicaro is a cooperative founded in 2017 by young farmers in Verbicaro, Cosenza, with the goal of reviving the area's historic wine capital status within the Pollino National Park. Spanning approximately 10 hectares of indigenous vines on hillsides at 400 meters, the cooperative produces Terre di Cosenza DOC wines from Guarnaccia (Magliocco Dolce) and Greco Nero, including the award-winning Borgo Bizantino IGP.
