About the Winery
Azienda Agricola Altomonte is a family estate in Palizzi, Reggio Calabria, where four generations have cultivated vines on 7 hectares in the breathtakingly unspoiled scenery between the Grappida and Carruso mountains since 2002. Led by Nino Altomonte, the estate practices certified organic viticulture, using grafts from centuries-old 'mother vines' to produce Palizzi IGT wines from Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Calabrese, Inzolia, and Malvasia.
