About the Winery

Niklas is a family-run wine estate in San Nicola above Caldaro, Alto Adige, established in 1969 and now managed by Dieter Soelva and his wife Johanna. Situated at the foot of the Mendola group overlooking Lake Caldaro, the estate produces area-typical white and red wines with a particular focus on indigenous varieties including Kerner, Schiava, and Lagrein, farming with integrated pest management across steep, sun-exposed vineyards.
