About the Winery

Podere Riosto is a family-run estate on the hills south of Bologna, at over 330 meters above sea level, producing wines under the Colli Bolognesi DOC including Pignoletto, Barbera, and rare varieties like Vite del Fantini. The estate practices sustainable viticulture and low-intervention winemaking, with wines crafted to express the unique sandy soils and excellent sun exposure of their 16 hectares of vineyards, and also offers agriturismo hospitality.
