About the Winery

Musto Carmelitano is a family estate in Maschito, Basilicata, run by siblings Elisabetta and Luigi, who are third-generation farmers with vines planted by their great-grandfather over 100 years ago. The organically certified estate encompasses three separate Aglianico vineyards at 2,000 feet on Monte Vulture's southern slopes, including the legendary Pian del Moro vineyard with vines averaging 80-100 years old, producing elegantly balanced wines with indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention.
