About the Winery

Azienda Agricola Montioni is a family-run winery in Montefalco, Umbria, founded in 1978 by Adeodato Montioni as an olive milling operation that has since evolved into a dynamic wine estate spanning 26 hectares of olive groves, vineyards, and cereal crops in the Umbrian Apennines. Today led by Paolo Montioni, the estate cultivates Grechetto, Merlot, Sangiovese, and Sagrantino on vineyards at 450 meters above sea level, producing flagship wines including Montefalco Rosso DOC and Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, alongside their acclaimed extra virgin olive oil, as one of the 59 wineries of the Consorzio di Tutela dei Vini di Montefalco.
