About the Winery

Montevetrano is an iconic 26-hectare estate in San Cipriano Picentino near Salerno, founded in 1983 by Silvia Imparato and renowned enologist Riccardo Cotarella, producing a single Bordeaux-blend wine from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Aglianico. Often called the 'Sassicaia of the South,' the wine comes from 5 hectares of vineyards at 100 meters above sea level in the Monti Picentini Regional Park, aged 12 months in new French barriques, and has earned nearly 20 consecutive years of Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri recognition.
