About the Winery
Monte Cicogna is a historic family winery founded in 1908 by Pietro Materossi in Moniga del Garda, on the shores of Lake Garda. Now in its fourth generation, the estate produces around 80,000 bottles of Lugana DOC, Garda Classico Chiaretto, and Riviera del Garda wines from clay-limestone morainic soils, with vineyards benefiting from the Mediterranean microclimate influenced by the lake and surrounding wooded hills.
