About the Winery
Corte Pavone is a biodynamic Montalcino estate owned by Loacker Wine Estates since 1996, when South Tyrolean wine producer Rainer Loacker acquired 4 hectares at 500 meters above sea level. The now 18-hectare property, managed by his son Hayo, produces organic and biodynamic Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, and sparkling rosé from 100% Sangiovese, vinified in a bio-architectural cellar with wines aged in large Slavonian oak casks and 500-liter tonneaux.
