About the Winery

Miani is a small, cult-status winery in Buttrio, Colli Orientali del Friuli, run by the towering figure of Enzo Pontoni, who produces fewer than 10,000 bottles annually across 13 hectares of organically farmed vineyards. Regarded as one of Italy's greatest white wine producers, Pontoni crafts barrel-fermented wines of extraordinary depth and concentration from Friulano, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Malvasia, and rare native reds including Merlot and Refosco from historic vineyard sites.
