Mastroberardino

Via RE Manfredi, 29-31-33, 83042 Atripalda (AV)

About the Winery

Mastroberardino is Campania's most renowned historic winery, located in Atripalda, Avellino, with a family winemaking legacy spanning three centuries since the official registration in 1878 by Cavalier Angelo Mastroberardino. The estate is celebrated for preserving indigenous Irpinian varieties including Fiano, Greco, and Aglianico that were nearly lost to phylloxera, and for the Villa dei Misteri project in Pompeii, where ancient Roman vineyards were restored in collaboration with the Archaeological Superintendency, producing wines from historical varieties using Roman-era techniques.
