About the Winery
Marchesi Fumanelli is one of Valpolicella's most historic family wineries, with the family cultivating grapes since 1470 on the Squarano Estate in San Pietro in Cariano. Now managed by Armando Fumanelli, the 78-acre estate is one of the largest in Valpolicella Classica, producing acclaimed Amarone, Valpolicella Superiore, Ripasso, and elegant white wines exclusively from estate-grown fruit on limestone and basaltic tuff soils at 350 meters elevation.
