About the Winery

Aquilaia dei Barbi is the Maremma estate of Fattoria dei Barbi, located in Scansano and acquired in 1997 by Stefano Cinelli Colombini to expand the family's winemaking into the Morellino di Scansano zone. The estate produces Morellino di Scansano DOCG and other wines from Sangiovese on clay, limestone, and schist soils at around 250 meters above sea level.
