About the Winery
Luigi Maffini is a pioneering estate in Giungano, Cilento, where Luigi and Raffaella Maffini first bottled their Fiano 'Kratos' in 1996 from a small family vineyard planted in the 1970s, gradually expanding to 15 hectares across two distinct zones overlooking the sea near Castellabate and in the hills near Paestum. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cilento provides a pristine national park environment where Maffini crafts distinctive, mineral-driven wines from Fiano and Aglianico with a clear chalky imprint from limestone soils.
