About the Winery

Tenute Girolamo is a family-run winery founded in 2001 by Michele Girolamo in Martina Franca, in the heart of the enchanting Itria Valley. The estate covers 40-50 hectares of vineyards planted between 2004 and 2005 at elevations of 350-450 meters above sea level, cultivating both native varieties including Primitivo, Negroamaro, Aglianico, and Verdeca, and international grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot, resulting in elegant, expressive wines that honor the land of the famed Trulli.
