About the Winery

Tenuta Terre Nobili was founded in the late 1960s by Ennio Matera in Montalto Uffugo, Cosenza, with the mission of recovering ancient indigenous Calabrian grape varieties. Today his daughter Lidia Matera, an agronomist who returned from Bologna in 1990, manages approximately 16 hectares and produces six labels from native varieties including Magliocco, Nerello Cappuccio, and Greco, farming organically in the Valle dei Crati IGT zone.
