About the Winery

Lino Maga is a legendary producer in Broni, Oltrepò Pavese, whose family has been making wine since 1886 from their 4-hectare Barbacarlo vineyard. Known for fighting a 23-year legal battle to protect his family's monopole cru name, Maga crafts long-aging, naturally made wines from Croatina, Uva Rara, and Vespolina using wild fermentation in ancient casks, with each vintage finishing fermentation in the bottle to create truly unique expressions.
