About the Winery

L'Arciglione is the label of Cataldo Calabretta, a biodynamic winemaker in the Cirò area of Calabria who tends 13 hillside hectares named after his grandfather's ancient pruning hook. The estate produces Cirò DOC wines from Gaglioppo, Greco, and Alicante grapes grown using organic farming methods, with wines fermented spontaneously using indigenous yeasts that faithfully express the terroir of classical Cirò.
