L'Aietta

About the Winery

L'Aietta is one of the smallest wineries in Montalcino, founded by Francesco Mulinari in 2001 while still in high school, after discovering that family picnic land held vines registered for Brunello production. The estate's terraced vineyard, surrounded by century-old dry stone walls and farmed entirely by hand using the traditional alberello method on sandy soils, produces fewer than 3,000 bottles of intensely personal Brunello di Montalcino.
