About the Winery

La Travaglina is a historic winery in Santa Giuletta, Oltrepò Pavese, founded in 1967 by grandfather Angelo on a family farmhouse dating back to the late 1600s. Now in its fourth generation with winemaker Stefano Bottiroli, the 30-hectare estate produces wines from Croatina, Pinot Nero, Barbera, Riesling, and Cortese, transitioning to organic farming in 2024 after decades of integrated agriculture and maintaining sulfite levels below 50% of legal limits.
