About the Winery
La Spia is a Valtellina winery in Castione Andevenno, in the Sassella DOCG subzone, with vineyards planted to Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) since 1962 when the Rigamonti family acquired the property. Named after a historic rocky outcrop used as a lookout during the Grigioni domination, the estate cultivates 4.5 hectares across the Valtellina territory, producing over 25,000 bottles annually of Sassella and other Valtellina wines.
