About the Winery
La Riccafana is an organic Franciacorta estate in Cologne founded in 1973 by Giovanni Fratus, now producing 70,000 bottles annually from 12 hectares on the southern slopes of Monte Orfano. Under Riccardo Fratus, the winery converted entirely to organic farming in 2006, becoming a pioneer of bio-Franciacorta with long certified lees aging on every bottle, delivering creaminess, drinkability, and lasting freshness.
