About the Winery
La Costaiola is a historic winery in Montebello della Battaglia, Oltrepò Pavese, with roots dating back to the 17th century and modern beginnings in 1938 when Luigi Carbone purchased the first vineyards. Today led by Simona Scrivani, Fabio and Michele Rossetti, the 13-hectare estate produces elegant wines from Croatina, Pinot Nero, and other varieties on hillsides of precious Eocene marl, clay, and limestone.
