About the Winery

Kellerei Kaltern is a cooperative winery formed in 2016 through the merger of the historic Erste+Neue and Cantina Kaltern, uniting around 430 dedicated winegrowers who tend nearly 300 hectares of vineyards around scenic Lake Kaltern. With roots stretching back to 1900, the cooperative produces acclaimed wines from both indigenous varieties such as Gewürztraminer, Lagrein, and Vernatsch and international grapes, reflecting the remarkable diversity of soils and microclimates in the Überetsch region.
