A Maccia, also known as Azienda Agricola aMaccia, is a historic family winery in Ranzo, Liguria, founded in 1850 by Giovanni, who was captivated by the local Pigato wine. Now in its fourth generation of female leadership, with Carlotta and her partner Fulvio at the helm, the estate cultivates Pigato, Ormeasco, Vermentino, and Rossese on 3.5 hectares, also producing Taggiasca olive oil and offering farmhouse accommodations.
