About the Winery

Castrum Roche is a young, emerging winery in La Morra's Torriglione area, founded in 2017 by Isacco Costamagna who inherited his grandparents' land and began producing wine under his own label in 2021. Farming 2 hectares of Nebbiolo in the historic Torriglione vineyard, named Castrum Roche in 1477 meaning country fortress, Isacco crafts fresh, elegant Langhe Nebbiolo through minimal intervention, organic practices, and indigenous yeast fermentations, representing a new generation of Piedmontese winemaking talent.
