About the Winery

Founded in 1974 by Francesco Capitani as ""Trevignano Vino"" on the hills overlooking Lake Bracciano, Cantine Capitani is a family-run winery that rebranded in 2015 to honor the family's enduring passion for winemaking. The estate cultivates both native varieties such as Trebbiano, Malvasia, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, and Cesanese d'Affile and international grapes including Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Syrah, producing wines that reflect the volcanic terroir of the Bracciano Lake area.
