Cantina Palazzone (Lake Bolsena)
About the Winery
Cantina Palazzone is a historic winery located near Orvieto in Umbria, on the border with the Lake Bolsena area, founded in 1969 when the Dubini family acquired the Palazzone property constructed in the 13th century as a hostel for pilgrims traveling to Rome for the Jubilee of 1300. The estate spans 25 hectares of vines planted on sedimentary and clay soils with superb views of Orvieto, and has been producing highly regarded wines since 1982, now recognized as one of the most significant labels in Umbria under the direction of brothers Giovanni and Lodovico Dubini.
