About the Winery

Paraschos is a Greek-Italian family winery founded in 1997 by Evangelos Paraschos in San Floriano del Collio, just steps from the Slovenian border, now run by brothers Alexis and Jannis. The 7-hectare estate, spread across 10 small terraced vineyards on Ponka soils between San Floriano and Oslavia, was the first in Collio to vinify its entire production without added sulfites in 2003, crafting soulful skin-contact wines from Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, Malvasia Istriana, and Pinot Grigio with spontaneous fermentation and extended aging in large Slavonian oak barrels.
