About the Winery
Alberto Oggero is a promising young winemaker in Santo Stefano Roero, who took over his grandfather Sandro's 4.2 hectares of vineyards in 1999 and bottled his first vintage in 2009 after a decade of experimentation. Farming organically across sandy-limestone soils, he produces around 16,000 bottles annually of Roero Arneis and Roero Rosso from old Nebbiolo vines up to 100 years old, using only native yeasts with no fining or filtration to create wines of remarkable drinkability and terroir expression.
