About the Winery

Scarbolo is a third-generation, family-run estate founded in 1982 by Valter Scarbolo in Lauzacco, in the eastern stretches of the Friuli Grave near the Slovenian border. Now led by siblings Lara and Mattia, the certified organic winery has downsized to 14 hectares of their best-situated vineyards, focusing on Pinot Grigio in multiple interpretations including traditional ramato styles, alongside Friulano, Refosco, Chardonnay, and Merlot, with a philosophy that prioritizes less technological intervention and more patience in the cellar.
