About the Winery
Vadiaperti is a historic family winery in Montefredane, Avellino, established in 1984 by Antonio Troisi, whose great-grandfather began importing Irpinian wines to New York in the early 1900s. Now run by Raffaele Troisi, the estate champions native varieties including Fiano, Coda di Volpe, and Greco from high-altitude volcanic 'tufo' soils at 1,200-2,100 feet, with Antonio having been the first grower to bottle a single-variety Fiano wine.
