About the Winery
Arcari e Danesi was founded in 2006 by Giovanni Arcari and Nico Danesi on the summit of Monte Orfano in Coccaglio, the ancient hill that marks the southern boundary of Franciacorta. Their cellar is entirely carved into the rock, and they produce approximately 30,000 bottles annually using their patented 'SoloUva' method — fermenting without added cane sugar, using only the grapes' natural sugars for the second fermentation — from 4.5 hectares of mainly Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco vines on iron-rich, ancient soils.
