About the Winery

Pian dell'Orino is a biodynamic Brunello estate in Montalcino founded in 1996 by Caroline Pobitzer and Jan Hendrik Erbach, situated near the legendary Biondi-Santi estate on just six hectares of Sangiovese vineyards. Demeter-certified since 2018, the estate produces about 17,000 bottles annually across multiple vineyard sites, with their Brunello Vigneti del Versante earning perfect 100-point scores from critics for its crystalline purity and terroir expression.
