About the Winery

Vallana is a historic estate in Maggiora, Alto Piemonte, founded in 1937 by Antonio Vallana, though the family name has been associated with fine wine since the 18th century. Now in its fifth generation under siblings Marina and Francis Fogarty, the winery owns vineyards in the prestigious Boca and Gattinara crus, producing elegant, long-lived Spanna (Nebbiolo) wines that showcase the volcanic soils and Alpine-influenced terroir of the Novara hills.
