About the Winery
Monte Maletto is a small winery in Carema, one of Italy's smallest DOCG zones with only 16 hectares under vine, located at the Piedmont-Valle d'Aosta border. Winemaker Giano Marco Viano crafts elegant Nebbiolo-based reds from steeply terraced vineyards, producing wines of silkiness and energy that capture the unique mountain terroir of this historic appellation.
