About the Winery

Case Alte is a family winery in Camporeale, Palermo province, now run by the third generation of the Vaccaro family, with roots dating to the 1950s when Giuseppe Vaccaro first vinified Catarratto and Nerello Mascalese. Their organically farmed vineyards in Contrada Macellarotto, at altitudes up to 500 meters, produce wines from indigenous varieties including Catarratto, Grillo, Syrah, and Nero d'Avola within the DOC Monreale denomination.
