About the Winery

San Lurins is a historic family estate in San Lorenzo Isontino, near Gorizia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, where the Pecorari family's first vineyard was purchased in 1874 and mixed agriculture including wine production was practiced for generations. After ceasing wine production in the 1970s, grandfather Mario Pecorari planted new vineyards in that decade, and in the late 1990s, father Armando began converting to organic agriculture, continuing a legacy of dedication to the land and sustainable viticulture.
