Rocca del Principe is a boutique winery in Lapio, Irpinia, producing Taurasi DOCG from 100% Aglianico grown in the Contrada Campore vineyard at 500-600 meters above sea level on clay-rich limestone soils. Their flagship Taurasi Aurelia is aged 24 months in oak followed by 12 months in bottle, resulting in a complex, well-balanced wine with excellent aging potential.
