About the Winery

Marco Tinessa is a natural wine producer based in Montesarchio, Benevento, whose project Ognostro began in 2007 from an obsession with natural wine and a passion for Taurasi, mentored by Frank Cornelissen. An established bank manager in Milan with no family vineyards, Tinessa grows Aglianico in Montemarano and Fiano in Lapio at extraordinarily low yields, vinifying in clay amphorae and high-density polyethylene tubs to prevent any influence on the wine and terroir.
